Simply Revolting

This is a truly revealing story. Pity that it had to come through the UK Guardian. *gag*puke*spew*.

The Cuban authorities have launched an inquiry into how the official newspaper of the Communist party ran a front page photograph of Fidel Castro which appeared to have been doctored to make him look like Adolf Hitler.

Inquiry my ass. Castro's Commie Cowards are undoubtedly ramming red hot soldering irons under every fingernail of every peon even remotely associated with that newsroom and layout department. Not only will they not rest till they find who actually did this, they'll continue and ruin that person's entire family, co-workers and friends. Guilt by association is the rule of the day in the "worker's paradises" of the world.

What's remarkable to me is the sheer audacity huge freakin' balls this took to simply do!

Although details of what happened remain unclear, what is known is that someone or some group at the newspaper appears to have risked all in the name of political satire.

Which may be the understatement of the year.

If you remember the history of the Berlin Wall, maybe you'll get the same vibe I'm getting from this. The overwhelming display of the sheer will of the East German people quelled even the Stasi from reacting. A simple, but completly overwhelming revolt.
