You read it right. I guess I'm up too late, but this just off of ABC News Radio. It's also here, on their website.
The story? Carol Moseley Braun dropping out of the race, to endorse DEAN.
DES MOINES, Iowa Jan. 15 — Former Illinois Sen. Carol Moseley Braun, whose campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination, never got off the ground, will drop out of the race and endorse front-runner Howard Dean, campaign officials said Wednesday.
And yes, this means I've scooped Drudge. I know, I was just there, and checked.

One down, eight to go!
I saw the Yahoo! News link, and had no idea who she was and skipped it.
I was more interested in the "Europe Hated Bush Because He's an Emperor from Texas" story.

I've noticed that she's been ignored by the media recently. She was ill-advised to jump in, listening to those that wanted a viable African-American (black) candidate to break Sharpton's hold on the African-American (black) supporters. But, I'm surprised he's still compaigning. What happened to all the bills unpaid, just a few months ago?
I'm looking forward to seeing just how Dean does. I'm looking forward to all his early endorsers tucking their tails and trying to slink away.
Of course, with Dean up against Bush, there will have to be a huge avalanche of voters for Bush.
