While reading a few of my daily scans, I came across this morsel from Townhall.com, which is a rich source, indeed.
Dennis Prager's poingiant article about his meeting with President Bush is worth a few moments of your time. It's heartening to have another confirmation of the intristic decency of man who holds the most powerful office in the world.
An excerpt:
Those who believe that a Bush re-election is indispensable to a better world can only pray that the Democrats continue to regard George W. Bush as intellectually challenged. He never was, and he has grown in these past four years so greatly that his Democratic opponent will not know what hits him in the fall debates.
Encouraging.
Now, if only the President would remember that conservative also applies to the budget, we'd truly be in great shape for November.
Exactly.
I'm hoping we'll see a difference once re-election is no longer a concern.
(Sad, but true...I think that'll make a difference.)

I have a favorites folder of columnists that I regularly check on. I've just added this man to the list. Thank you, Jim.

I just read the article you recommended. I have always been of the belief that President Bush is an intelligent man. Not many people can boast graduating from Yale with a Bachelor's degree and an M.B.A. from Harvard.
Thanks for the link to the article.
