The Dixie Chicks may have been embarassed that George W. Bush is from Texas. Big deal. I saw a bumper sticker on a Dodge Ram today that said "I'm embarassed that the Dixie Twits are from Texas."
But that's old news.
Myself, when I read about tripe you'll find in this link, I've gotta be a bit embarassed to have been born in California. What was once a proud and free state is now pretty much indistinguishable from a "people's soviet".
At least where the State Assembly is concerned, that is.
When I was a wee lad in the Golden Granola State, the worst gun law they had there was a (as I recall), fifteen-day waiting period on a handgun purchase. My, my...how things have changed!
Out on the Left Coast, Democrat foes of the Second Amendment want to ban gun shows from a taxpayer-owned property but keep allowing a porn expo.
"Foreplay got the nod over gunplay Wednesday by state senators deciding what types of shows to allow at the Cow Palace," the San Francisco Chronicle reported today.
Read the whole thing, as the saying goes.
Back already?
Well, now that you've read the whole thing, let me give you my take on how to deal with such travesties.
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!
The bloodcurdling howls of the barking moonbats would be priceless, indeed.
Dude, I have to be honest, if I have to choose between porn and guns, I'll choose porn every time.

If your argument only consists of insults and name calling, you don't have an argument at all.
George W. Bush lied us into an illegal war and now our troops are commiting attrocities because of it. I am ashamed that my country allowed this to happen.
Nobody died because of what Natalie said. Many fine young American men and women and countless (because we don't stop to count them and pretend like they don't count) innocent Iraqis have died because of the things George W. Bush has said and done.
It's as simple as that.
