The term "Clean Sweep" came into vouge in the Pacific Theatre in WWII. Though not unheard of before that era, it came to serve as a term indicative of a successful submarine patrol. Especially one in which all "fish", (torpedoes) had been fired, and all ships targeted by those weapons, destroyed.
Proudly the sub, torpedo tubes and reload racks empty, would sail into port with a broom lashed bristles-up to a periscope mast. Nothing more need be said, the symbol said all: Clean Sweep!
Then, enemy tonnage on the bottom was only a Good Thing. It 's equivalent, the death of our IslamoFascist foe still is, but not to a certain type of leftard, a type only described as anti-American. A type I call: Enemy Sympathisers. Even Bennedict Arnold would be ashamed of them.

Name one leftie calling for the removal of Saddam in 1980. Name one leftie calling for the removal of Hafez Assad, Ayatollah Khomeini, Pol Pot, Ho Chi Minh, Mao Tse Tung, Joe Stalin, Leonid Breshnev, Ceasescu, Jaruzelski, any East European Communist dictator, Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, or any other of a long list of tyrants supported by leftists today and over the last 50 yrs. Name one left leaning patriot who believed America was not the source of Evil in the world from 1950 to present. Name one.
But the best line of all, idiot, is the one where you complain that there are a lot of brave Islamic fundamentalists who deserve the same consideration as American soldiers and politicians who insist on fighting the tyranny of the world which you now support through undermining our efforts. You know, those brave Islamic fundamentalists who cut off Nick Berg's head on camera, who torched contractors delivering silverware and food to a remote outpost in Fallujah and then hung their bodies from a bridge, who murdered Margaret Hassan, slit her from crotch to neck, cut off her head, legs and arms to prevent identification of the body, those brave Islamic souls who push their AK-47 around a corner and spray and pray not caring where the bullets go so long as they can take a picture proving what brave men they are as they cut down 12 yr old schoolgirls in the crossfire, those brave Muslim men who hide behind their women and children to ensure they can blow up IEDs under HUMMWVs but Americans can't shoot back because they hide under the skirts and burkhas of stupid and brainwashed ladies and children. The brave Islamic souls who take over the mosques in Najaf and Karbala and then hold Islamic court justice for over 200 Muslims whose only crime was they were Sunnis in a Shiite holy city, or "apostates" who worked with Americans to feed their families.
Where is your vaunted moral superiority now, censored? You support killers of innocents. We support those who stop them. Where is your moral compass pointed? And who are you to lecture us on the costs of war, the costs of failure to act in time to prevent larger war, and the costs required to prevent 9-11 a million times over in the next decade? You support terrorists by supporting their positions. You oppose the very values you claim to club America over the head with to prevent our action. And you cheer the deaths of anyone who works with Americans as "apostates" who deserve what they got. You never lament enemy actions, only praise them.
