Todd Beamer, indeed. There was a time where such courage was common-place and respected, but decades of "...denigrating the wolf..." and removing the People's ability to defend themselves have lead us to today's sorry state of affairs.

Just a thought, but if one, or some, of those students had a CC permit and a gun in their book bag...things might have turned out differently. There might not be 32 dead.
